We hate to see you go, but you can cancel a subscription anytime after the initial prepaid term has been completed. Please cancel by 7:00 PM EST on the day before your renewal (billing) date if you do not wish to receive that month’s box. To cancel, log into your "My Account" page, and click the "Subscriptions" tab. Click "Manage Subscription" next to the subscription that you'd like to cancel then click “Cancel."


To turn “off” your subscription’s auto-renewal or to cancel, please log into your Account page and follow the cancellation instructions there or email us at

Return Policy

Monthly subscription boxes are ineligible for return.

We accept returns on Store orders if the items are unused and not damaged. Returns must be made within 60 days of purchase for a full refund. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.  


Return packages must include:

  • Return details: order number, account name, reason for return

  • Items in original packaging/crates and original condition

Domestic Shipping

SmartBeans subscription boxes ship anywhere in the United States, including Hawaii, Alaska, and APO addresses.

FREE DELIVERY to the United States* and Canada. 

In most cases, if the recipient has not received a SmartBeans subscription before, we ship the first box within 1-2 business days of receiving the order.  If the recipient has received a box in the past month, the first box of the new subscription will ship with the next regular subscription shipment. Subsequent boxes will be processed on the 1st of each month and ship in the days following. If there is an issue with billing on the 1st, or if the recipient has had a shipment in the previous 10 days, we will attempt to process the monthly box on the 15th instead.

International Shipping

Our delivery expectation to international addresses is 14-21 business days after shipment, with additional delays possible due to customs. Please note that we are only able to provide tracking information up until the shipment reaches your country. If you do not receive your crate after 3 weeks, please contact our customer support team.


International shipping costs are determined at Checkout and depend on destination.
